Do you build the site for us, or do we build it ourselves?
Either. Most clients have our team design and launch the site, then edit it themselves in Merchant Studio and the Site Builder. You can also sign up and build from a theme on your own, and call us in when you need help.
Can we use our own domain?
Yes. Every site gets a free subdomain straight away, and you can connect your own domain at any time. You keep ownership of your domain; we only connect it.
Which payment methods can our store accept?
Stores connect their own M-Pesa till or paybill and card provider, so money is paid directly to you. Catalogue sites can take orders on WhatsApp or by quote with no payment setup.
Can we get the source code?
Yes, as a separately priced handover. We export your site's frontend into its own repository with documentation and a licence. The shared platform and other clients' code are never included.
What happens if we outgrow a template?
Your theme can be customised as far as you need — layout, typography, components and workflows — without leaving the platform or losing your content.
Is our data separated from other businesses?
Yes. Every organisation is isolated at the application and database level, staff access is role-based, and sensitive actions are audit-logged.
